About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

Every Muslim irrespective of their sect, claims to follow Muhammad (SAW). Whether they love Ali (AS) or Mawiya (the cursed), whether they go to the shrines of Qalanders and dance there or not, whether they wear a turban or shave their beard, they all claim to be Muslims and thus they follow Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

What is the reward of those who follow Prophet Muhammad (SAW)?

And their saying was no other than that they said: Our Lord! forgive us our faults and our extravagance in our affair and make firm our feet and help us against the unbelieving people. So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the hereafter and Allah loves those who do good (to others).
Quran [3:147-148]

Those who follow Muhammad (SAW) in reality are rewarded in this world as well as the hereafter.

If this is the case, why then do we see Muslims around the world, unhappy and dissatisfied. Why are there mental tensions and problems in every Muslim family? Why are Muslims being humiliated everywhere and face defeat, their enemies having the upper hand mostly? Why are Muslims facing poverty and hunger? Why are Muslims being blown apart in suicide bombings? Why do Muslims die timelessly and purposelessly in accidents? Why do Muslims die in stampedes during the Hajj (obviously we label them martyrs and will be discussed later)? Why are children of Muslim families heedless of their religion as well as culture and are involved in all sorts of haram? Why are Muslims dieing of dangerous diseases like cancer and Aids? Why do Muslims die in earthquakes and tsunamis, which were a means of punishing the nations in Quran?

Yet you it is who slay your people and turn a party from among you out of their homes, backing each other up against them unlawfully and exceeding the limits; and if they should come to you, as captives you would ransom them-- while their very turning out was unlawful for you. Do you then believe in a part of the Book and disbelieve in the other? What then is the re ward of such among you as do this but disgrace in the life of this world, and on the day of resurrection they shall be sent back to the most grievous chastisement, and Allah is not at all heedless of what you do.
Quran [2:85]

Are not Muslims disgraced in this life? Is this how Allah rewards the believers in this world? Or is it that we are disobedient to Muhammad (SAW) in some way or the other, thus we face nothing but problems and humiliation in this world, let alone the next world.

Before i Proceed, the question arises as to what is Obedience to Prophet Muhammad (SAW)? Muslims recite the Kalimah and pray Salaat regularly thinking that they have performed their right of obeying Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The Kalimah, the Salaat, they are not obedience to Prophet Muhammad (SAW), they are a promise which a man does to himself, to Allah, with the angels as a witness, daily, that he will Obey Prophet Muhammad (SAW), for his obedience is the only way to obey Allah himself.

Isn't it shameful, that a person who prays 5 times a day, promises himself and Allah five times a day that he will obey Rasool (SAW) in every part of his life, yet he breaks his promise the very moment he leaves the mosque and stares at the face of some woman in the market with lust?

What is unfortunate in our society is that the poor are more concerned about filling their stomachs. They send their children to the Madressahs in hope that their child will learn religion as well as get food and shelter. This child is exploited and his teachers are ignorant themselves. The rich are arrogant and do not give the poor their right (mostly). How can Allah guide them to his religion? Read enigma of guidance. That is why the rich are cursed with children who eat haram, live haram and thus have nothing to do with religion.

Those who are religious, take it's meaning to be someone who wears a namazi cap with a tasbih in his hand and wears trousers above the ankle.

It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East and the West, but righteousness is this that one should believe in Allah and the last day and the angels and the Book and the prophets, and give away wealth out of love for Him to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and the beggars and for (the emancipation of) the captives, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate; and the performers of their promise when they make a promise, and the patient in distress and affliction and in time of conflicts-- these are they who are true (to themselves) and these are they who guard (against evil).
Quran [2:177]

Quran has it's own meaning of piety which includes perfect faith as well as it's reflection in sincere actions towards the society.

Why do the religious people and the Islamic mullahs limit Islam to turning their faces towards the east or the west only? Because they too are deprived of the understanding of religion. Is this how Allah rewards "his men"? The reward of Allah is definitely the understanding of his religion, which only he has who is endowed it by Allah himself;

Does it not then direct them aright how many of the generations In whose dwelling-places they go about We destroyed before them? Most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding.
Quran [20:128]

Coming back to the topic, it is important for people to realize the difference between a punishment, a trial and a martyrdom. Because we love our fathers and mothers and we cannot accept that they ever did something wrong or are evil and thus will burn in hell, we attribute their punishments as trials and their accidental deaths as martyrdom. Well, it might be true and I am not judging anyone as that is not what i am suppose to do, but one thing is certain;

For his sake there are angels following one another, before him and behind him, who guard him by Allah's commandment; surely Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition; and when Allah intends evil to a people, there is no averting it, and besides Him they have no protector.
Quran [13:11]

That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them.
Quran [47:11]

Science is involved in geology and medicine but as Muslims, we believe that the earthquake which killed thousands in Iran and Pakistan was by the order of Allah. It was not random. Similarly, the Tsunami that wiped away Indonesia was decreed by Allah. The people who die of aids or cancer etc, are infected by the orders of Allah. Is not Allah the protector? If sinning kaafirs who do not believe, neither do good, die timelessly and purposelessly in airplane crashes and car crashes, and die of diseases like aids, and die of devastating earthquakes, and so do "practicing Muslims", then what is the difference between the two?

If Allah is the protector of the believers, and the angels protect the believers, what is this protection from? Verily this protection of believers is from enemies, diseases, Allah's punishment, natural disasters, sins and Satan's provocations. If you are not protected from these, then Allah is not your protector and neither did he send angels to protect you from.

Isn't it odd that we label those who die in stampedes during the Hajj pilgrimage as martyrs? Are these people at the same level of those who were martyred in Badr, who die fighting in the way of Allah? Did these hajis intend to die this way or was it accidental? A prophet or an Imam will either die peacefully, or die a martyr. You cannot expect them to succumb to a dangerous disease caused by Allah, or die accidentally, let's say, tripping over a stone and hitting their head on another rock, killing them in the process (accidental). If they are protected from such punishments by Allah, why not the people who emulate them and follow them?

The fact remains that we call everyone a believer and a Momin who is apparently bearded and is good to us. Allah has his own measure of piety and protects those who have firm faith in his protection.

You may argue that someone in problems might not be a punishment from Allah but as a means of trials. Definitely. But there are two signs for a thing to be a trial.

  1. The person in trouble will know. Everyone knows how pious they are, how much do they follow Rasool (SAW).
  2. A man having everything but satisfaction will not be under trial but punishment. He who is in all sorts of apparent problems but is still satisfied is the sign of a trial. Because man will only be satisfied if he has the grace of Allah with him.

What is the reason that Muslim blood today is being shed like cattle blood, in Iraq, Kashmir, Palestine, even Pakistan, by fellow Muslims and nonmuslims alike?

And certainly We have created for hell many of the jinn and the men; they have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear; they are as cattle, nay, they are in worse errors; these are the heedless ones.
Quran [7:179]

Aren't we the heedless ones? Haven't we forgotten the fact that we all will die one day and we all will be raised again on the day of Qayamat? If we are not the heedless ones, then;

  1. Aren't we jealous of our own siblings and friends?
  2. Don't we marry our children against their will?
  3. Don't we cheat in our exams at school and college level?
  4. Don't we stare at women?
  5. Don't we involve ourselves in Pornography and masturbation and above that, proudly advertise it?
  6. Don't we count having many boyfriends and girlfriends as status symbols?
  7. Don't we destroy our lives in the name of love?
  8. Don't we dance in mixed gatherings in weddings?
  9. Don't we pray Salaat but ignore the rights of Zakat and Khums?
  10. Don't we gossip uselessly about everything and everyone behind their backs?
  11. Don't we usurp the rights of others?
  12. Aren't we involved in usury?
  13. Don't we respect people due to the amount of wealth, power and fame they possess, and not piety?
  14. Don't we use force against the weak and the poor?
  15. Aren't we rude with our elders and make fun of someone who is different from us?
  16. Don't we sell things at a higher price to take advantage of the situation and earn more money?
  17. Don't we hate each other, kill each other in the name of religion?
  18. Don't we visit darbaars and mazaars of Qalanders etc to pay homage to someone who has no role in deen, and as a bonus, witness prostitution and selling of drugs which take place at such places usually?
  19. Don't we give normal people and Sahabas, men who are answerable for their own actions, the rank of the Ahlulbayt, the people on who we send our durood?
  20. Don't we follow mullahs blindly, shia or Sunni, and believe everything which suits us, without any verification?

The truth is that we are Muslims, yet we are disobedient to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in our lives, one way or the other. We are greedy and we are ungrateful to Allah for whatever he has given to us. We eat good food at luxurious hotels, yet we do not thank him for the food he gave us to eat. We do not remember our death and see this current life as the only time of living.

We are disobedient to Prophet (SAW) and are heedless about the hereafter with the attitude that this life is the present, when the future will come, we will see to it. We are the cattle and that is why Allah disgraces us and punishes us in this life also, whether that punishment be in the form of an accidental death or a natural disaster.

Yet man will not understand. And why should we understand when it is not in our hands? If our faith and actions are not worthy enough, Allah does not give us the power to understand and realize. Thus we will roam around from place to place, like cattle, searching for poor people to oppress, innocent people to loot and flesh of women to eat.

Because the money we earn is haram and we are too arrogant due to our wealth, why should Allah give us the sense and the opportunity to do something for the poor? Because if we do that, we will earn ourselves a reward. Who can help us if Allah deprives us from the opportunity to earn a reward?

It is time we become humans and not cattle. It is time we understand religion and for that, we need the want to understand religion, only then will Allah bestow you with it and save your life in this world as well as the hereafter.

It is time we follow Muhammad (SAW) wa Aal e Muhammad (AS), for these are the people Rasool (SAW) left behind along with Quran! Why deviate from them and disobey Rasool (SAW) and bring others to their level?

Fire will burn as it is Haqq. In your opinion, if fire cools down, it will not change the haqq. You will burn yourself due to your own faith and opinion about the fire. It is better to align your opinions about everything, with the Haqq. The magic however is, that the power to align your opinion with the haqq can only be given to you by Allah himself. So be a man and pray to Allah to give you this authority, for this alone will be your key to success.

Obedience to Rasool (SAW) and understanding of the religion is incomplete without the mentioning of Mawla Ali (AS). According to the Hadith, Umm Salama is known to have said that Muhammad said:

Ali is with the Truth (haqq) and the Qur'an, and the Truth and the Qur'an are also with Ali, and they will be inseparable until they come upon me at Kawthar.
al-Bahrani's Ghâyat al-marâm wa-hujjat al-hisâm, page 539

Al Bahrani recounts the hadith in fifteen versions from Sunni sources and eleven versions from Shi'a sources. In some versions of the hadith, there is an extra sentence that is the Prophet (SAW) said;

Wa dara al-haqq ma'ahu haithu dar"
"And the truth (the right path) turns with him (i.e. Ali) wherever way he turns."
Tafsir al-Kabir, by Fakhr al-Din al-Razi, Commentary of "al-Bismillah"

Why turn your face away from Rasool (SAW), Mawla Ali (AS) and the Ahlulbayt, those who were taken to Mubahila by rasool (SAW), the truthful ones about whom the Quran had said;

O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and be with the true ones.
Quran [9:119]

Be with the truthful ones, and be obedient to Muhammad (SAW).

You might be a Muslim, you might pray 5 times a day and keep fasts. You might hold majalis in the memory of Imam Hussain (AS) and do matam. But make sure, in the hereafter, when lists will be prepared, make sure your name does not appear in the list of people who were disobedient to Muhammad (SAW). You of all people will know how to avoid appearing in this cursed list, you will know if you want to know it. We as an Ummah are suffering because we have disobeyed Rasool (SAW). It is time we make amendments and realize where we go wrong.

Look around you! What do you see? People blessed by Allah in his mercy or people who are confused, troubled and not satisfied? Has Allah forgotten us or have we forgotten him? Do not let your neck be the neck of a cattle, for it will surely be slaughtered. Let your neck be the neck of a man, only then will it bow down to the will of Allah.
