We believe that a true and comprehensive
understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the
Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.
Azadari; A Return To Him (AS) His Manifold
" A man with nobility and maturity will always return you your favours as he will never want to be indebted to your efforts and contributions. That is the sign of a man with self-respect.
Per the Quran (2:261), Allah is he who does not keep anything that you spend (of property) in his way but he multiplies it for you.
When Ibrahim (AS) offered his one son to Allah, Allah multiplied it and returned to Ibrahim (AS) not only his son, but also gifted Imamat in the family of Ibrahim (AS) and a pilgrimage as a commemoration for all believers for all times to come.
And Allah is above everyone, and does not need anything from us at all. Whatever that we do is for our own self. Quran 2:245 questions who is it that will offer of Allah a goodly gift, so He will multiply it to him manifold?
When Imam Hussain (AS) offered to Allah his wealth and property, his own blood, his sons, his brothers and his friends, freedom of his women and daughters, do you think that Allah shall not return to him his manifold? Allah does not like to be indebted to you for your alms, how can he then be indebted to some one who has spent life in his way?
In a selfish world today where a brother does not meet a brother without a purpose, men are spending money to arrange for gatherings (Majlis) and preparing meals for the participants, and men are risking their lifes to continue the zikr of Hussain (AS) in a world where children, men and women alike are being targeted and killed for their association with a school of thought, yet it does not refrain them from doing so. Allah's systems and plans are beyond human comprehension.
Imam Hussain (AS) stood by Allah against all odds. Can Imam Hussain (AS) be here today without Allah's support? When the Ummayads killed him, Abbasids tried to destroy his grave and shrine and persecution of his commemorators a 1400 year long story? The story, message and zikr is as fresh as the air we breath.
The pagans used to call the Prophet (SAW) Abtar (without descendent, cut-off, alone). Today, the Prophet's (SAW) grandson's commemorations are being organized in almost all parts of the world where human beings live and a language is spoken. "
