About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

The Lasting Taste

" It is a universal experience, that the last taste, is infact, the lasting taste.

No matter how good your friendship has been, if it falls apart on account of something unpleasant, you will remember the friendship on account of that unpleasant event and not on account of the amazing moments you shared together. No matter how good your pizza was, if the last taste you bit of that pizza was cold and bitter, that will be conclusion of your meal as well, irrespective of how perfectly cooked the other 99% of the pizza was. Your meal will be ruined and the lasting taste will haunt you until you overcome it with an alternate. Your day was awesome, you got promoted, won a lucky draw and enjoy rain, but on your way back home you met with an accident, the accident will be your last experience of your day and will regulate your mood when you enter home.

Our experiences are built on intricate and continuous details as we go along a path, but the last encounter is what truly defines and symbolizes our experience in its absolute terms.

As believers and as human beings, no matter how lavish our life has been, or how hard our life has been, we all end up in graves. Our last and definitely our lasting taste will either be of the drops of Kauthar which Prophet (SAW) will offer us (InshaAllah), or of the tree of Zaqqum and that is what truly will matter. Everything before that is immaterial. Everything from today will become immaterial within a span of 50 years, or 100 years if that is how long you will be able to live on this earth. "
