About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

The Blind and the Seeing Are Not Alike

" Most of us have read the story of the six blind men. Just a recap, there are six blind men, each arguing with the other about what an elephant looks like.

The first blind man goes near the elephant and touches it's tusk. He believes the elephant is just like a spear. The second one goes and touches it's tail. He argues that the elephant is not a spear but something like a rope. The third blind man touches the elephant's ears and claims that the elephant is neither a rope, nor a spear, but a very large fan. The fourth blind man goes near the elephant and ends up touching the strong legs of the elephant. He concludes that the elephant is something like a tree trunk. The fifth one touches the trunk of the elephant and tells the others that the elephant is a name for a gigantic snake. The sixth blind man touches the stomach of the elephant and tells the other blind men that all of them were wrong, the elephant is indeed a wall.

The 6 blind men fight and argue with each other, yet all of them were right with respect to the resources, strengths and exposure they had.

Today, we have done the same with Deen-e-Islam. Each sect, blinded by hatred, biasness, ignorance, commercial benefits and blinded by sins, impiety and misguidance touches Islam and argue amongst themselves labeling each other kaafirs.

There are people whose minds and hearts have been locked by Allah. These are the blind who would continue to wander forever in darkness of their own arrogance. For these, religion will only be what they were able to touch.

And how can Allah allow a man to touch the path of guidance, a man who does not guard against evil, a man who is not free from biasness and arrogance, a man who does not earn lawfully, spend lawfully, a man who has no desire to be guided, a man who does not fear Allah.

Those who can take off their blind folds through prayers, piety and by earning the will of God, will know what Deen-e-Haqq is. Verily Deen-e-Haqq is the way of those, who earned Allah's mercy and pleasure, not a way of those who earned his wrath.

Nothing lies in arguments except wastage of time. How can you make the blind see. Quran itself says it is a guide only for those who guard against evil. It is time we try to take off our blind folds and try to see. As Mawla Ali (AS) said, there is always enough light to see. What matter is, If we really want to see and if we are brave enough to acknowledge what we see."
