About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

Failures

" Ever since we are born and exposed to this world, we are taught competitiveness, whether it be in the noble life in the name of education or sports, or in the wild life in the name of natural selection.

We compete with our fellow students, we compete with our siblings, to get the highest marks and to win every sport and race. Although i believe it to be necessary to have a sense of competition, but the focal point is not whether such a life style adds values to our personality or is destructive. The point to be made here is that we all compete in our lives and every day is a competition, against others, against our own self, against circumstances.

Every one of us is a combatant in our own right. But there is one thing common amongst all of us, the good and the bad, the strong and the weak, the haughty and the pious. Whatever our objectives are, whatever our mission is, we do not want to fail in it. The fear of failure is inherent in all of us and it is the reason for our anxiety before our result cards in school is handed over to us, for our stress at our work place because we are missing our targets, for our depression and hopelessness after loosing a sports tournament.

We live our every day, every moment, in order to succeed in a small mission of our life, our year, our day. We believe that every passing moment of our life is worth the success and the feeling in achieving it.

Those of us who do not fear failure, hate failure. Nonetheless, failure is one of the worst emotional scars which we as a human being can experience; failed exam, failed semester, unsuccessful job interview, failed investment, lost tournament.

This is the failure in this life, which we are neither ready to accept, nor designed to live by.

As Allah has said in the Quran, Surah 91 Ayah 10, that he will indeed fail who corrupts (its soul).

How then will failure in the hereafter not be one of the biggest tribulation? How will then those people feel who failed and will get their result card in their left hand, with their faces darkened? How will then such a failure feel when the world will be watching, friends and enemies, ancestors and children alike? What will be the humiliation be when Allah will uncover such humiliation and failure from all of the worlds to see? "
