About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

See You Again, Hopefully

"When a person dies, his true helplessness which he denied during his lifetime, is exposed. He remains in the posture the others give him, he wears what the others make him wear, and he lies till the Qayamat in a grave the others have made for him, if they do that is.

Because we all have come into this world, we all have to go away as well, the same way, therefore the grave is our true abode.

I wonder then what is that in man that he becomes so arrogant and insolent in life?

Why have then many of us forgotten this truth? Are not our ancestors a part of the dust today?

Will not those die, who have slain thousands of innocents and who support the same for political gains? Will the cries of the oppressed go unheard? Do those who have been given authority, power, resources and knowledge, think that they will not be held accountable for the bounties bestowed on them by Allah?

Our heart goes out to those slain in the name of religion, to the innocent and the martyrs. What is happening in Pakistan is what happened earlier in places where Allah would send his wrath. Silence, incompetence and insincerity of those in power (the government, law enforcers and the learned ulema) is more traumatic.

But what gives us strength is the hope that we will meet again and we will see and be with our loved ones once again, on a day, which Mawla Ali (AS) had described as where the slain and the oppressed will be powerful, the day which will be tougher on the tyrants, tougher than the day the tyrants had the weak and the oppressed at their mercy.  "
