We believe that a true and comprehensive
understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the
Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.
Sirat Al-Mustaqeem
"For believers, Islam is salvation. But many do not understand what Islam really is. Some may limit it to Salat, Zakat and Saum, others may argue that morality and humanity is Islam, some may believe that whatever is in the Quran, is Islam and yet some may dictate that submission to the one true God is Islam.
Although every one is correct, they have only but touched parts of Islam and did not describe it in its totality.
Islam is not a destination, it is not a point in time, that once you have achieved Islam, you have succeeded in the mission of your creation. Islam is a way, thus Sirat Mustaqeem, or the right path. As long as you continue to be on the right path, you are on Islam.
You simply cannot accept Islam, until and unless you live it
It is therefore a life long struggle, where a man has all chances of achieving repentance till his last breath, and a man has all chances of ruining all of his deeds till his last breath.
It is a path of those, who were bestowed by Allah's favor; favor of intellect, wisdom, maturity, nobility, chivalry, eloquence, piety, purity, guidance, Imamat, Risalat and choice.
How can then you be on the right path, when you are of those who are proud and arrogant, who do not help others, who have love for money and power, who do not obey, who are jealous and materialistic, who do not keep their promises and who lie? "
