About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

Lord of Goodness

"There are men amongst us, whose hearts have been gifted with softness and mercy, who help those in need and feed the poor and the orphan. There are men who spend (in the way of Allah) to fulfill the needs of the needy.

This is only talks of men, creations. How come then, the creator himself, the sustainer, the acceptor of prayers, the one who filled the hearts of such men with mercy, not accept prayers of his worshippers and provide them with peace and free them from want?

As Imam Jaffar Sadiq (AS) said, that he is astonished on a man in distress, sorrow and need, a man whose Lord is as beneficent and merciful as Allah.

The believers and those firm in faith are successful and these are the ones who shall never be in distress, even if they are tested with distress. If we are worshipping Allah and following his apostle, yet we find ourselves in misery and our hearts discontent, then it means we are not doing it right and are only lying with ourselves.

The Quran states (4:79) that all the good that a man receives comes from Allah, and all the bad is what his own hands have earned him.

You are very unfortunate if your Lord is Allah and yet you find yourself in turmoil, dissatisfied, hopeless, frustrated and confused. For nothing comes from Allah but goodness. "
