Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.
Accepting Success And Happiness
"We pray 5 times a day, and bow down during Salaat, accepting the lordship of Allah, the one true God.
Why are we sad then on our short comings? We are sad because we did not accept the decisions and the destiny decreed by Allah for us. What did we accept in the lordship of Allah, if we did not accept the decisions made by him?
We are sad and disappointed because we want more, we want a big house and luxurious cars, we want to win every game we play, we want the most beautiful wife(s), we want to have very successful careers, we do not want our loved ones to die and we want all of our prayers and wishes to be accepted.
Mawla Ali (AS) said, that he (AS) gets very happy when Allah accepts his prayers/dua for that is his (AS) wish, but he (AS) gets even more happy when Allah does not accept his prayers/dua, for that is his will for him (AS), which includes nothing but something better in this world or the next.
If only we realize what is in our hands, is only our intentions and efforts, but not the end result, and if we accept the destiny and the decision of Allah, will man never cease to smile, and will find that peace in his heart and mind.
The key to success and happiness lies in acceptance of one's destiny. The struggle and the prayers shall continue, but couple them with acceptance to whatever is the outcome, as a gesture of accepting the will of Allah and in what is his Razamandi, because that is the least we can do to show our gratefulness and gratitude. Accepting the will of Allah is accepting of happiness and success. "
