We believe that a true and comprehensive
understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the
Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

" Most of our scholars, irrespective of their own lifestyle, try to convey a message of spirituality, that because the world is finite and death awaits us, and Qayamat is coming, and Dajjal is coming, and Imam Mahdi (AS) is coming, there is no need for us Muslims to run after the materialistic world but to simply shun the luxuries of the world and prepare for our deaths.
While how simple and true this message is, this message has confused our people to a large extent, and has become one of the reasons resulting in the Muslim Ummah being far away from science, technology, research, development. Infact, majority of our people, while themselves desiring wealth, critique individuals of high net worth.
The developed societies and economies have been created on the back of individuals who succeeded in creating wealth, whether that is the through the banking system, the economic system, the market place, the medical system, revolution in technology etc.
While Islam dislikes accumulation of wealth, Islam does not forbid creation of wealth. If you have wealth only then you can serve the community in a material way.
Qarun is famous for his wealth, which could not save him. But Janab Khadija (AS) is also very famous for her wealth which was used to sponsor the advent of Islam. Firon was given the kingdom on this earth, but Sulaiman (AS) was also given a kingdom on this earth.
Our material struggle must not be for ourselves and our generations to inherit from, but for us to be able to make this world and society a better place. This realization is a sign of wisdom.
Remember Allah has not given his prophets and chosen ones the material world as a gift, but wisdom and knowledge.
The Prophet (SAW) prayed for the good in this world before praying for the good in the hereafter; Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Because the world comes before the hereafter and hence in terms of the recency effect becomes important right now, because the world impacts the hereafter as what you sow here you reap there becomes more important as it defines your own eternity later. "
