About

We believe that a true and comprehensive understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.

Willing or Not?

" In Quran Surah 41 Ayah 11, Allah commands the earth and the heavens to "come both, willingly or unwillingly". The heavens and the earth responded "We come willingly".

Despite that we do not fully understand the magic, science, power, knowledge behind the mesmerizing of the "Kun", when Allah gave the choice to the heaven and the earth to come, and the fact it was their eventual destiny (as they would have to come even if unwillingly), surrendering to the command of Allah willingly showed the immense power, control and patience at the same time that Allah possesses, and the fear and helplessness over his command that the heavens and the earth had.

As Allah was patient and not in a hurry, he gave them a choice to come either willingly or unwillingly. This patience can only be depicted by the creator who knows nothing can escape his power and jurisdiction hence no need to hurry. Allah did not negotiate with them and commanded them the end result giving them the choice to comply with his command else he would ensure his command is complied with nonetheless. And as the heavens and the earth understood the might of the creator, they complied with the order willingly, as the unwilling compliance would have been humiliating and violent for them.

Just like the heaven and the earth, every one of us have to surrender ourselves before Allah and his command, willingly or unwillingly. It is only a matter of time. Those who are guided, who learn from their mistakes, who repent, who learn from the past, learn from the guided, surrender themselves willingly. These are the people who present themselves before Allah willingly (in their prayers, repentance, good deeds, fear of accountability, empathy for others, forbidding himself from low desires).

The rest will be presented before Allah unwillingly when the angel of death will cease them.

As Allah promises in the Quran, Surah 79 the first 2 ayahs, there are angels who violently pull out the souls of the wicked, and there are angels who gently draw out the souls of the blessed."
