We believe that a true and comprehensive
understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the
Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.
The Thin Red Line; Kerbala Distinguishes
" People ask how did Kerbala save Islam and there are many answers to it. However, i will like to highlight two contrasting facts so that the muslims may consume it in the solitude of their night to understand the spirit behind Kerbala.
The Prophet (SAW) promised paradise to his companions who would fight with him (SAW) in the way of Allah and not desert him in the battlefields. Yet there were many who deserted the Prophet (SAW) on various occasions.
Imam Hussain (AS) promised paradise to his companions on the evening of 9th Muharram who would desert him and save their lives on the 10th of Muharram rather than fighting with the Imam (AS). Yet there was none who deserted the Imam.
Infact Hur (AS) left the camp of Yazid to join the camp of Hussain (AS) hours before his own martyrdom. This migration from a camp of Hajis and Namazis to another camp of Hajis and Namazis is the red line that divides the way of the Prophet (SAW) from the way of those who deserted Him (SAW)."
