We believe that a true and comprehensive
understanding of Islam would not be possible without careful recognition of the
Prophetic Tradition and the Prophet's Household. And Allah is the Source of Strength.
Tauheed is Life
"We are Muslims, but very few of us understand the strength of Tauheed, even fewer respect it. Tauheed is not limited to kalmah and Namaz. These are very small (but important) gestures.
Tauheed is to give the control of our heart and mind to the will of Allah. We can steal, rob, adulter, cheat and lie. But we do this without thinking that it defies the authority of Allah which we should not have.
Allah is Akbar. Nothing can be greater or comparable to him. Yet if he loves, why cant we love one another versus harboring enmity and prejudice? If he is forgiving, why cant we forgive those who wronged us but asked our pardon? If he helps the weak why cant we help with our knowledge, time and wealth, those who need it? If he is one, why cant we be one (unified) under the banner of Islam? If he is just, why cant we do justice in our lives with our daily dealings, with the way we treat our elders and the younger, the poor and the weak, with the time we spend with our loved ones and our professional duties, with the onus on us because of the resources we have? If he is light, why cannot we enlighten ourselves? If he has created law and order, why cant we shun fitnah and anarchy?
No matter how arrogant and boastful a man is, he must return to his grave. His loved ones put dirt on him and leave him alone, with whatever he himself has earned in his life.
When a muslim is buried, he is buried facing the Qiblah. If a house of bricks dictates the way we live (Salat and Hajj) and the way we are buried just because it is the will of Allah, then surely we cannot even understand what his Tauheed really means.
It is not a shock, that Imam Hussain (AS) sacrificed all he had, to strengthen the belief in Tauheed, the message of his Grand Father (SAW).
As Quran states in Surah 4 Ayah 125, that who has a better religion than he who submits himself entirely to Allah?
Tauheed is not a belief but a lifestyle, reflected in our piety, modesty, manners, knowledge, love, unity, tolerance and constructive contribution to the society. "
